Henwood House, Company Overview Since its foundation in 1994 as a not-for-profit organisation, the DSDM Consortium has been at the forefront of developing processes which address the common causes of project failure and delay. In 1995 this resulted in publication of the first version of the DSDM project framework. The latest version, Atern, is the product of experienced practitioners who have used the framework extensively in a wide variety of public and private sector projects. Drawing on their combined experiences they have put together a robust but agile framework which can be used across all business sectors. It can be tailored and used in conjunction with other methods such as PRINCE2 or an approach such as CMMI. Moreover, on time and in budget project delivery is, perhaps now more than at any other time, a business imperative. The guidance and techniques within DSDM Atern enable project teams to achieve these objectives while delivering a quality solution. The DSDM Atern framework is free to view at www.dsdm.org and is supported by a full set of materials including a handbook and templates. An additional resource is Atern published in Eclipse Composer offering project teams a platform which will easily enable them to tailor the framework to suit a particular project or organisation’s requirements. Training in Atern is available from a number of accredited training organisations offering both public and in-house courses along with the Atern Foundation examination. Further certification is offered by the Consortium from Practitioner level through to Trainer and Coach. A number of Consortium members offer consultancy and a list of these along with information about training and certification can be found on the website. Back to Exhibitior List |
